Miraculous Ladybug Season 1 Episode 8 Rogercop

At school, while Tom and Marinette are outside the classroom, Adrien has just left the classroom and tries to call his father, but only voicemail answers. He leaves him a note about career day and how he hoped he would show up. Adrien is very upset and disappointed, though when Plagg asks him if he is okay, he says yes. Afterwards, Adrien sadly returns to class. Meanwhile, Tom negotiates and Marinette starts giving out free croissants to all her classmates and is sad to see Adrien in so much trouble. When he then reaches Chloe and Sabrina’s desk, he witnesses a discussion between the two and Chloe’s father, the mayor, regarding an expensive bracelet the girl brought to school; then, as Marinette gives the croissant to Sabrina, Chloé jokes that Marinette’s father would have to sell the entire store to buy her a bracelet like that. Marinette therefore refuses to give her a croissant, saying that she doesn’t need it because she’s so rich.

Meanwhile, Plagg notices Chloé putting the bracelet back into the bag from Adrien’s bag, mistaking the round box for the shape of Camembert cheese. So he immediately enters the second bag to eat it, and is disappointed to find that it is not cheese. However, he takes a liking to the object because it is shiny and starts playing with it by throwing it in the air. Unfortunately, while Alya’s mother is talking, he fails the catch with disastrous results: the bracelet gets stuck around his head. Plagg then knocks over Chloe’s bag, causing Marinette to trip over it, before rolling under Adrien’s desk.

Chloé chides Marinette for being clumsy (she also dropped all the croissants off the tray and crouched down to pick them up); then, while Officer Roger, Sabrina’s father, is talking, Chloé notices that her bracelet is missing. He immediately accuses Marinette of stealing and wants Roger to arrest her. Then, seeing that both Tom and Roger are against this decision, he calls for help from his father, who threatens to fire the police officer if he doesn’t follow what Chloé said. However, Roger still doesn’t arrest Marinette because he can’t without evidence, so the mayor throws him out and sends him out of the room. Officer Roger returns to his police car, very frustrated with the mayor for firing him for refusing to break the law. Sensing Roger’s frustration, Hawk Moth sends him an akuma that enters the agent’s whistle, and after accepting Hawk Moth’s offer, he is transformed into Rogercop, a robotic police officer, and also receives an upgraded police car.

Meanwhile, the class is still open to discussion: Mayor André is fighting with Marinette’s father, only stopping when Miss Bustier reminds them that the kids are watching. Only then does Adrien feel a shoe blow and see Plagg struggling to free himself from the bracelet. She then picks it up and walks out of the classroom, trying not to draw attention to herself.

Once they leave the room, Adrien berates Plagg for causing this mess and starts trying to free him. Meanwhile, Rogercop wants to enter the school to arrest the mayor, meeting Mrs. Mendeleev and Fred Haprèle in the process. She thinks they’ve both broken the law (the first because she threw the paper wrapper in the trash but missed it, just like when walking, the second because he tried to stop him from entering the school), so she binds them with beams that she shoots from wrists and then forced to punish them with a whistle: Mrs. Mendeleev is forced to pick up trash from the ground and put it in the trash can, and Fred is forced to run around the perimeter of the school yard.

Adrien sees Roger handcuffing and punishing Fred, but when he asks Plagg to transform, the kwami reveals that if he did, the bracelet would be pulled into the ring and Adrien would also be incapacitated; therefore, Adrien moves to the locker room to try to find other ways to free Plagg. Meanwhile, Marinette is still in class and tries to free herself by blaming the other people in the class: first she blames Sabrina because she was holding the bracelet in Nina’s lesson video, and then Nathaniel because he drew the bracelet. a sheet of paper. Tom thus chides his daughter for acting like Chloé by accusing her classmates without solid evidence.

However, the discussion is abruptly halted when Rogercop enters the room. Sabrina immediately recognizes him and asks the people in the room where the mayor is. No one answers him, even when he threatens to arrest them, but he stops when he hears André’s voice in the principal’s office: the mayor has threatened not to pay the school if they don’t find the bracelet. Rogercop therefore begins to move towards the office. Meanwhile, Marinette gets out of class and transforms into Ladybug after being scolded for being horrible to her classmates. Adrien also transforms into Cat Noir after he manages to free Plagg by making him sneeze using a piece of cheese covered in pepper.

Ladybug uses her yo-yo to stop Rogercop from shooting the mayor, giving him enough time to get out of the building. However, Rogercop, completely ignoring Chloé trying to get his attention, sees him at the exit and follows him. The ladybug tries to stop him from walking, but he only falls flat on his face. Just as the cops are shooting at André, Cat Noir appears and jumps on his arm, so he fires what appears to be a microchip at the mayor’s limo instead. The mayor then gets into his car and drives away. Cat Noir and Ladybug try to fight Rogercop, but he simply grabs Cat Noir’s staff and throws it into the same trash can where Mrs. Mendeleev threw her trash, then throws Ladybug inside the school. Afterwards, the villain tries to get into his own car to follow the mayor, but is interrupted by Chloé, who demands his attention and wants to be interviewed. So the policeman lets her get into the car and drives off.

Cat Noir sees this scene from the trash can and, in an attempt to save Chloé, immediately follows Rogercop and jumps on the back of his car. The villain notices this, activates the car’s flight mode and takes off. Ladybug can use her yo-ya to cling to the car right next to Cat Noir. Rogercop tries to shake them off, but Ladybug catches Cat Noir before she falls. Afterwards, still ignoring Chloé who asks him to land and arrest Marinette, the cop activates autopilot and climbs onto the roof of the car to fight the two heroes.
