The episode opens with Miss Bustier writing on the board while the class does their own individual activities. Suddenly Rose gets a headache and asks Miss Bustier if she can go see the nurse. Miss Bustier replies that they can't keep Miss Heady waiting and asks Marinette to take her to the nurse. As she accompanies Rose, Marinette questions who Miss Heady is and if she is an imaginary friend like Lily Unicorn Rose had in sixth grade. Rose says Heady is the nickname she gives when she has a headache, and it reminds her to never leave Mr. Brekkie, the most important snack to her health. Marinette replies that she loves how Rose can see the world through rose-colored glasses and tells her to come to class when she can, and to remember to say hello to Sissy, who she jokingly says is a nurse. Rose laughs and says not to worry because Sissy will never be long and enters the nurse. Marinette returns to the classroom and says that everything is fine with Rose while Juleka looks worried.
At lunch, when Juleka is about to eat, she gets a message from Rose. When she first reads it, she is shocked by what she sees and hangs up. Marinette notices this and tries to help her, saying that if Juleka skips Mr. Mealy, the energy packed lunch, Heady might have to visit her as well. Juleka then runs off crying and Marinette thinks she insulted her and says it was a joke. Juleka goes to the basement of the school while Marinette calls out to Juleka looking for her. Shadow Moth senses Juleka's negative emotions and sends akuma to harm her. Adrien walks into the school and runs into Marinette looking for Juleka. Marinette apologizes and stammers, trying to explain that she's looking for Juleka and that she ran away crying after joking with her in the cafeteria. Adrien points to the basement of the school, suggesting that she might be there.
They go inside, but Marinette accidentally trips over Adrien, but is quickly restrained from falling on top of him. She stutters and says she's worried about Julek and that she was a fool because she didn't know if anything she said upset Julek. Adrien clarifies that while not all of the things he says make sense, they're never mean and there has to be another reason, and goes back to finding Juleka. Sure enough, the two find Juleka crying. As Adrien tries to reassure her, Marinette texts her classmates that Juleka was in the school boiler room and they immediately rush over.
Marinette apologizes to Jules and asks if she pissed her off. Juleka makes it clear that she is only worried about Rose. Marinette is confused and reveals that Rose was fine and just went to rest in the nurse's room. He encourages her to tell her anything and promises not to tell anyone since they were her friends. Juleka pulls out her phone and shows a photo of Rose in a hospital bed. When her classmates arrive and are horrified. Juleka explains to them that Rose got quite sick when she was little, and the illness can come back at any unexpected moment. Nino says that Rose was always so bubbly and happy that they never thought something like this would happen to her. Juleka also explains that she promised Rose not to tell anyone and begs them not to tell her that she told them. Her classmates are very understanding and several of them admit that the secret is safe with them. Adrien reaches out to Juleca and says it's okay that she kept it a secret, but it was too sad a secret to keep to herself. Juleka thanks them and Marinette says that's what friends are for. All of Marinette's classmates present hug Julek, causing the akuma to fly away.
The next day, Juleka is ecstatic to see Rose again hugging her when they first met on the subway. When the two get to the school, they notice that the students are much nicer to Rose than usual, as a result of the class learning about Rose's condition. While Rose is confused, Juleka is irritated because the class makes no effort to hide it. Finally, during lunch, Rose realizes that Juleka has something to say to her, so they both head to the bathroom to discuss it. Here, Juleka confesses to Rose that she told the class about Rose's condition. Rose is worried at first because it means that no one will treat her the same way again, but when she notices Jules's guilt, she immediately stops it and tells her that she shouldn't have put such a burden on her. After they both leave, the whole class is present and the class agrees to treat her normally.
However, this changes in Mrs. Mendeleev's class, where everyone learns about diseases. Rose sneezes in the middle of class, causing panic in the class. The class debates whether or not to call an ambulance until Rose snaps and reminds the class to remember the promise they made. This brings back Jules' guilt and she runs to the bathroom to lock herself in the stable. Rose quickly runs after Juleka. Sensing Julec's pain, Shadow Moth charges both akuma and amok and sends it after her.
In the bathroom, Rose begs Juleka to open the door, telling Juleka that it wasn't her fault. Juleka skims through the text messages her classmates have started sending her and concludes that she is the reason everyone is feeling guilty. Rose tries to convince her otherwise, but stops when she notices the akuma running amok. Amok enters Jules' phone while the akuma enters her right lace glove, turning it back into Reflect and summoning the sentimonster, Guiltrip. Reflekta, still feeling extremely guilty, allows herself to be consumed by the sentimon, much to Shadow Moth's horror.
