Miraculous Season 4 Episode 7 SOLE CRUSHER

The episode opens with a taxi driver giving Zoé a tour of Paris. They pass several landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Jardins du Trocadero and the Louvre. While sightseeing, Zoé sees Tom & Sabine Boulangerie and asks the taxi driver to stop, saying that she has always wanted to eat Parisian croissants. At Zoé Bakery, Sabine Cheng asks for some croissants and quickly receives them. Marinette then walks in with a box of apples and accidentally bumps into Zoé. Marinette apologizes and Zoé says it’s okay. Zoé helps Marinette up and Marinette begins to explain how clumsy she is. Zoé laughs and helps Marinette put the apples back in the box. Marinette asks if Zoé needs anything, but she says she’s fine. However, Marinette apologizes and asks her mom for an extra dozen croissants, but then pauses because she doesn’t know the other one’s name. Zoé tells Marinette her name and Marinette says she’s Miss Walking-Disaster. He asks Zoé where she’s from because her accent is “really nice”. Zoé tells Marinette that she is from New York and has come to live with her family who live in Paris. Marinette notices Zoë’s sneakers and asks if she drew them herself. Zoé says she wrote everything she was told was pretty on them. Marinette points out that there’s only one thing, and Zoé replies that she only had one boyfriend. Marinette tells Zoe that she and her friends are going to put on a show at the Liberty that night in the Seine River. Before she leaves, Marinette writes her number on the box Zoé ordered, while Zoé writes her number on Marinette’s hand.

After a while, Zoé arrives at the Le Grand Paris hotel and gives the croissants to the taxi driver to share with her children, they ask if she wants to keep some for her family and she says no, she prefers sour ones. for sweets. The cab driver thanks Zoé and tells her to enjoy the ride, while Zoé looks at Marinette’s number and puts the box in her purse. At the entrance, Butler Jean greets her and takes her inside to see her mother, Audrey Bourgeois. Zoé tries to put on a mean facade to match her mother’s demeanor and says her flight was terrible when asked if it was terrible because she looked the part. Zoé talks about someone in economy class who has foul-smelling cologne and the flight attendants refuse to open the window. Audrey questions her about not getting a private jet from her forgetful father, then says he’s “too busy for anyone as usual”. Zoé said it was fine that she wanted to go to Paris with them, but asked what exactly was wrong with her boarding school. Zoé blames her desire to move on the existence of cockroaches in her locker on the business.

At Audrey’s behest, Zoé is taken to meet Chloé, her half-sister. Looking her over, Chloé tells her that with her blonde hair and blue eyes, she still meets the family’s standards and is at least a physically acceptable sister. Showing disgust at Zoe’s phone and sneakers, she introduces the diamond ones, saying that in life there are winners and losers, and the winners have their “perfect feet” in said shoes, while the losers grind under their souls. Chloé asks her if she wants the shoes and Zoé holds out her hand, but Chloé takes them and moves them away. Chloé says that if Zoé wants to be a winner and part of the family, she will have to earn her place. Chloé says that she will mentor Zoé and that if she proves to be a good sister, maybe she can borrow the diamond shoes. Zoé continues to misbehave to appease Chloé. Rule 1# is that her father only exists to give her what she wants, whenever she wants. Chloé calls her father, who appears within seconds, and demands that he paint something pink before she goes to school, then cuts off his protest by closing the door. Chloé says that if she becomes her sister, Zoé can use her father (Mayor André Bourgeois) since she was born, one isn’t there. Rule 2# is having a minion in your possession and when Zoé is asked about hers she says she left them in New York. Chloé calls it a “fatal mistake” and says “you’ll never go anywhere without your minion” and walks over to the closet stating “don’t confuse a minion with a pet” and that she’ll be taught that later. Chloé says that “a minion is someone who will do anything for you”, then opens her closet door and scolds Sabrina for not having her math homework done yet. Sabrina apologizes that it’s because of the darkness.

After making Sabrina run next to the car all the way at school, shoving a bag at a boy, thinking it was good enough and forgetting Zoé’s name, Chloé introduces Zoé to the students and demands that they treat her with respect. Alya, Rose, Juleka, and Alix immediately think the new girl is bad news, like the other Chloé, but Marinette calms her anger by telling them not to be quick to judge. He tries to talk to Zoé and ask about the macarons. When Chloé gets angry about the fact that they seem to know each other, Zoé claims that she had ‘good taste’ and throws away the macarons. Disappointed, Marinette leaves and Zoé gains the admiration of her sister and Sabrina.

Zoé eventually settled in Mrs. Mendeleev’s class after threatening to call her stepfather. In art class, the girls discuss ways to get Zoé away from her sister’s toxic influence, and Rose asks if they can adopt her. Marinette says she’ll make the first move. On the way home, Chloé finally lets Zoé have the diamond heels she promised.

At home, Marinette wonders why Zoé was so mean before; Daizzi suggests it was because she was hungry. Convinced that Zoe’s true self was that morning, Marinette texts her; Tikki says if he acts with good intention nothing bad will happen. Back at the hotel, Chloé is looking for shoes while Zoé gets a text saying they can talk in private and that she’s still invited to the party that night. Zoé writes that she will explain everything later. Chloe notices this and is furious, telling Zoé that she’s either walking over the others or walking over her and that Zoé should be proud to be in the family. Zoé, being mean again, says that she plans to humiliate Marinette by throwing macaroons into the river. Chloé buys this and starts writing down more ways to ruin Marinette’s life while Zoé steps onto the balcony.

Zoé looks at the city and considers throwing the shoes away, but backs off. She is noticed by André who asks if she is okay. He tells her that he used to be a filmmaker but was pushed into politics by his family. Zoé explains that she used to like acting at home, but she quit acting so much that she tried to please everyone and hid her true self. André shows her his “dream warehouse” where he keeps his film scripts and supplies away from Audrey and Chloé to receive it and says he can make room for her stuff. Saddened and remembering Chloe’s harsh words, Zoé ends up putting on her sneakers.
